  Final Report

 “AQua - Availability & Quality”

“AQua - Availability & Quality” aims at a positive (r)evaluation of education – and job-
oriented actions for unemployed or job-seeking migrants (18-25 years) by means of an
international exchange of experiences in three ways:

   1. existing good practices in the area of educational policies and measures for
       migrants are identified
   2. a comparative analysis of existing policies is conducted
   3. a detailed account and analysis of successful and not successful measures and
policies and their evaluations in countries with a different migration-structure

Main activities are carried out in cooperation of the expert organisations of the project
partners Austria, Cyprus, Germany, Slovakia, Sweden and Turkey together with
rapporteurs and external experts forming a steering committee.

They include

   1. data analyses
   2. comparative research
   3. exchange meetings
   4. an international conference
   5. dissemination

Main outcomes of “AQua" are:

   1. comparative reports on the existence of specific policies and measures and on
       various methods used for evaluation
   2. account of good practice examples in the partner countries
   3. an international conference with all actors in the field

The target group benefiting from the outcomes includes policy makers, researchers,
practitioners and representatives of interest groups, especially of migrant organisations.
